when does it end

Even though I heard we won't learn much, I am going to the reunion briefing. I cannot stand not knowing. I think everyones nerves are taxed right now, both our soldiers and us, the families.
We had a Sgt's wife send us info the entire year, Sgt. Medved's wife Janet.
The FRG was no help.
Janet did this out of the goodness of her heart.
Thank you Janet.

I couldn't sign in as PaNationalGuardMom but this is my blog. I think the military didn't want to admit to anything that happened and that's why they told all of us that our loved ones that served would only be able to talk to their Band of Brothers and that they were the only ones that would understand but that's not true. Jeremy did talk to me and I understood. Our loved ones carried unnecessary guilt because They tried to brainwash our loved ones and what better way to make post traumatic stress disorder worse than to cut off communication with everybody but their Band of Brothers. They told family members that as well. It's not true and they could talk about anything and still can, those that are still alive.

Call Me Grandma, I read your post. I need some sleep but if you or anyone else replies I will check here and there. I did answer your post. I have forgiven but I won't forget the damage, the unnecessary damage that was caused by trying to get our family members to not talk about what happened over there and telling us the same lies that did nothing positive and kept everything bottled up both for some of our loved ones and us. I am glad Jeremy talked to me. He was still hurt and he died 11 years after he served from post traumatic stress disorder. Holding things in and not talking about them causes harm. I am thoroughly convinced that not talking about things that bother you especially serving in war is one cause of post traumatic stress disorder.
